GOD IS NOT A RESPECTER OF PERSON

Acts 10:34 (NIV) says, “Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism”

Romans 2:11 (NIV) says, “For God does not show favoritism.”

As I reflect on my journey of faith, I have come to a profound understanding of the verse that states, God does not show favoritism (Romans 2:11). Initially, this concept puzzled me - how could a divine being remain impartial in a world filled with inequalities and injustices? However, through contemplation and prayer, I see now that God's love is all-encompassing and unconditional. His grace extends to every soul without discrimination or bias.

This realization has reshaped my perspective on how I interact with others. Instead of seeking recognition or privileges based on external factors, I strive to treat everyone with compassion and empathy. It reminds me that we are all equal in the eyes of God, regardless of our social status or achievements. This understanding has deepened my faith and enriched my relationships with those around me. In embracing God's impartiality, I find solace in knowing that His love transcends human limitations and brings unity among all people.

Write the vision

Habakkuk 2:2-3 (KJV) says, "And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

You have to be positive with whatever comes out of your mouth. When you speak in faith, when you speak in love, when you speak in the spirit, the words you speak become the word of God that goes forth out of your mouth to accomplish that which you have spoken.

We are told in the Scriptures, "Write the vision, and make it plain." This means that you should know exactly what you want and be very clear about it. If you speak your word, and it is definite and positive, what you want will come to you. And it will come to you in ways which might seem miraculous. Now everything may not come in a seemingly miraculous way, and I want to be very clear on this. If you learn how to be definite and positive in describing the good which you desire, and in speaking your word concerning it, it will have to come to you. And that is what I find so thrilling about this teaching and about this Ministry.

ACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH

Matthew 9:29 says, "According to your faith be it unto you."

Everything in life comes from the ideas in your mind. This story of Jesus healing the blind gives us an idea of how powerful your mind is! If you start believing something, it will happen. It doesn't make any difference whether your thought is good or bad, it will happen if you think it will happen. Those of you who follow my teachings have heard me say this many times. This is such an important principle that it bears repeating. Everything in life comes from the ideas in your mind. Everything! This is what Jesus meant when he said, "According to your faith be it unto you." (Matthew 9:29) According to your idea about yourself, according to the ideas in your mind, be it unto you. In other words, the experiences in your outer world come from the inner world of your thoughts. So be careful what you think, and be careful what you say. Feed yourself, feed your mind, right ideas. Never feed anything to your mind that you don't want in your experience.

POSITIVE AND ENCOURAGING

Ephesians 4:29 says, “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.”

Proverbs 18:21 (ESV) says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.”

Brothers and sisters, what you believe about yourself must be based upon spiritual reality. You deserve the best because you are a child of God. I want you to say to yourself every day, “I deserve the best because I am a child of God." And when you pray, believe it. Believe that you deserve all of God's goodness. Don't just say empty words. Affirm to yourself: “I deserve the best because I am a child of God.” I don't deserve the best because I'm better than anybody else. I deserve the best because I am God's child, and I deserve all of God's goodness.

Let your words be positive and encouraging.

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU FEED YOURSELF!

Matthew 4:4 says, “It is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.”

Brothers and Sisters, you will never get any further in life than the ideas in your mind. It is important to feed your mind only the right ideas.

BEWARE OF JUNK FOOD

Proverbs 23:7 (KJV) says, “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; But his heart is not with thee.”

Bad thoughts are like what some people call "junk food." Junk food is unhealthy. It has no nutritional value for your body. This powerful proverb reminds us of the profound impact our thoughts have on shaping our reality. It challenges us to reflect on the significance of our inner beliefs and self-perception. Our thoughts not only influence our actions but also contribute to forming the person we become.

This verse serves as a reminder that we hold the power to shape our own destinies through the power of positive thinking and self-belief. It encourages us to be mindful of our thought patterns and strive for a mindset that aligns with our goals and aspirations. By focusing on cultivating positive thoughts and beliefs, we can manifest a life filled with purpose, success, and fulfillment.

Bad thoughts are also unhealthy. They have no value for your mind, your body, your spirit, or your life. So don't waste your time on "junk food" thoughts. Think only GOOD thoughts. In other words, GOOD thoughts for a good experience of life.

OPEN UP A CAN

Philippians 4:13(KJV) says, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.”

Brothers and sisters, here I go again, talking about food. Yes, feeding your mind! One of the best ways to feed your mind is to open a can. You’re probably thinking I have lost it, right?

I want you to think and to say, "I CAN." This is one of the most positive thoughts you can have. "I CAN" are words of ACTION! And action, like everything else in life, begins with a thought, an idea, and a belief. The affirmation "I CAN" promises action. You can't say, "I CAN…" and just sit there and do nothing. It makes you want to jump up and start doing! The world belongs to those who take action. So, brothers and sisters, say you CAN do something, and you WILL do something.

TRUSTING IN OUR HEAVENLY FATHER

Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV) says, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

Brothers and sisters, trusting in the Lord with all our hearts means surrendering complete control and placing our faith in His divine plan. We must work and have faith, but we must know that His ways are higher than ours, even when we cannot understand the road ahead. By acknowledging God in all our ways, we invite His guidance and wisdom into every facet of our lives, allowing Him to align us with the best possible outcomes.

Leaning on our own understanding can lead to limitations and mistakes because our knowledge is limited and often clouded by biases and emotions. Instead, trusting in the Lord opens up possibilities beyond what we could imagine, leading us toward paths filled with blessings and purpose. As we give up the need for full understanding and control, we create space for miracles to unfold and opportunities to spring up that may have remained hidden if we had relied solely on our own capabilities.

COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS

Read Psalms 36:5-10(KJV) for yourself. I have summarized those verses to mean “Count Your Blessings.”

Brothers and sisters I believe the author of Psalm 36:5-10 is telling us to count our blessings. In order to have the good which we desire, we need to get in the habit of counting our blessings. The more we begin to appreciate the good we have, the more good we will have to appreciate. The more we praise the Lord, the more we will have to praise the Lord for. The more we become conscious of having good, and being good, and doing good, the more good will come into our life.

So I challenge each of you to stop complaining and Count your blessings.

WHERE IS YOUR TREASURE?

Matthew 6:21 says, “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”

My brothers and sisters, this well-known scripture holds profound wisdom that goes beyond material possessions. It speaks to the idea that what we value and invest in reflects our true priorities and passions. Our treasure doesn't necessarily refer to riches or physical wealth; it includes anything we hold dear to us, whether it be relationships, goals, or beliefs.

When we understand this concept at a deeper level, it challenges us to evaluate where we are putting our time, energy, and resources. Are we truly nurturing the things that matter most to us? By examining where our treasure lies, we gain insight into what drives us and shapes our sense of fulfillment. Ultimately, this proverb encourages us to align our actions with our values in order to lead a more purposeful and authentic life.

In a world filled with distractions and external influences competing for our attention, it becomes crucial to consciously choose where we invest ourselves. By focusing on growing meaningful connections and pursuing endeavors that resonate with our innermost desires, we discover greater contentment and create a ripple effect of positivity around us. Our treasures are not just reflections of who we are but also guideposts pointing us toward the path to genuine happiness and fulfillment.

TRUTH AND FACTS

John 8:32 (KJV) says, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

When we look deep into the profound scripture of John 8:32, we are confronted with a universal invitation to seek knowledge and embrace reality. The liberation promised here lies not in mere facts or information but in confronting our own illusions and self-imposed limitations. To know the truth is to acknowledge both the light and shadow within ourselves, leading us on a path toward personal growth and understanding.

My friends, there is a difference between truth and fact. Read this carefully because I’m going to give you a principle that Jesus gave us to live by, and I want you to get it! Two years ago, I was sick and in the hospital and later rehabilitation for 26 days. Sickness may have been a fact during that time of my life, and I don't argue with that. But sickness was and is not my truth. I want you to affirm this to yourself, say, "Sickness is not the truth of me. Health is the truth of me." Here again, we are working with the principles that Jesus gave us. What did He say? "You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." You have to know the truth about yourself and you have to keep affirming the truth of yourself. Because the way you see yourself is the way that you're going to experience life. "Health is the truth of me."

My wife sings a song that says, “I don’t care what it looks like because I know what it’s going to be.”

The process of knowing the truth may be challenging and uncomfortable at times because facing reality often requires courage and vulnerability. Yet, only by embracing the truth can we experience true liberation of the mind, body, and soul.

LOVE ONE ANOTHER

1 John 4:7-8 (KJV) says, “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.”

Brothers and sisters, John is emphasizing the fundamental connection between love and God. The center of love itself is rooted in God's nature, making it a divine attribute that manifests within believers. This connection between love and godliness serves as a litmus test for one's relationship with God; those who truly know and experience God will naturally show love toward others. On the other hand, those who don’t show love are said to lack knowledge of God, highlighting love's integral role in recognizing and understanding the nature of our divine God.

Love goes beyond mere sentiment or action; it becomes a tangible expression of our connection to God and an instrument through which we can comprehend His nature more deeply.

I believe John is challenging us not only to practice love as an external behavior but also to grow it as an internal attitude reflective of our intimate knowledge and experience with God Himself. As we embrace this profound truth that “God is Love,” we are called to begin on a journey of faith characterized by authentic, selfless affection toward both our God and our fellow human beings.

WITH GOD, YOU ARE THE MASTER OF YOUR OWN DESTINY

Habakkuk 2:2-3 (New King James Version) says, “Then the Lord answered me and said, “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.

Brothers and sisters, be patient and trust God's timing. Habakkuk 2:2-3 highlights the importance of faith and perseverance through challenging times. By writing down the vision and waiting for its fulfillment, we are reminded to remain steadfast in our beliefs even when circumstances seem challenging.

My friends, the prophet Habakkuk emphasizes that God's promises will happen for you at the appointed time. It serves as a reminder that while we may not see immediate results, we must continue to have faith and trust in God's plans for us. This passage challenges us to maintain hope and assurance in God's ultimate purpose for our lives, even amidst uncertainty and adversity.

Finally, with God’s help, you are the master of your own destiny. It’s not about who wins the upcoming presidential election. It’s not about depending on your boss, your company, or anyone else to recognize your hard work. YOU are the only person on this planet who has the power to chart your course in life.

THE MOST FEARED PEOPLE ON EARTH

2Chronicles 7:14 (KJV) says, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Brothers and sisters, if there are any people to be feared in this generation, it is the men and women of prayer. This breed of people can exercise their authority in prayer to do all kinds of things.

Prayer is a means by which man communicates and has fellowship with God. This is not a small thing. To be able to communicate with God almighty is a privilege. The instrument that allows this kind of fellowship is a powerful instrument. Beyond communication and fellowship, prayer is used to summon divine intervention on earth.

Our Heavenly Father wants us to understand the importance of humility, prayer, seeking His presence, and repentance as crucial elements for healing and restoration. This verse teaches the transformative power of acknowledging our faults and actively turning away from wrongdoing.

Finally, my friends, this is a divine promise that if we sincerely seek forgiveness and strive to walk in righteousness, God will respond with grace and mercy. The notion of healing not just on an individual level but on a worldwide scale is significant and suggests that unity in faith and action can lead to collective renewal. Ultimately, this verse serves as a reminder that genuine repentance opens the door to spiritual revival and restoration within communities and nations.
